Maidani signed the Constitution of the committees

Maidani signed the Constitution of the committees The Constitution signed by Fatosi is an ugly political line with which the paths to solving the crisis that has gripped the country are being hopelessly closed. The President, by the decree in which he proclaimed the unconstitutional Albanian variant into force, had already secured a place in history as the most typical example of unconstitutionality in the peaceful transfer of power. The chairwoman of the parliamentary groups and the political leader among the ladies of the upcoming elections bore the name Fatos Nano. If we manage to understand the reasons why and how he found the necessary courage to take such a step, that is thanks to the events themselves, which revealed to Albanians the hidden face of today’s power. But now this has happened before everyone’s eyes. Whoever has not yet been convinced of this is completely ridiculous. This terrible January of bloody events has brought the crisis of state building; has toppled governments; has shattered the administration and the economy; has sown insecurity and anxiety among citizens; has brought weapons into the hands of an enraged population and, above all, has destroyed faith in the future and the foundation of hope. Maidani’s Constitution is a new seal on this process. The President has put his signature on a text that does not come from a national compromise, but from the imposition of the majority. He has signed not reconciliation, but division. Not the affirmation of justice, but the legalization of injustice. In these conditions, every person who thinks about Albania must understand that the signed document does not serve civil peace. It will be a new source of conflict, because it does not enjoy consensus and does not create guarantees for the opposition and for the ordinary citizen. Instead of being a president of unity, he has appeared as a notary of the majority. And this is tragic for a country that more than ever needs balance, justice, and a moral arbiter. History will judge this act not by the solemnity of the ceremony, but by the consequences it will bring. And the consequences are already clear: more mistrust, more tension, fewer ways out.
